How to apply
NACA is a K-4th and 6th-12th grade Charter School. We are in the process of building up the elementary school and we will continue to add on a grade level each year. In 2020-2021, we will be accepting students in Kindergarten through fifth (5th) grade. NACA is a free and open public school that does not discriminate based on disability, race, ethnicity, color, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, ancestry, or religion. Every year, we open enrollment for up to 75 students for 6th grade. New 7th -11th graders will be accepted if there are openings at those grade levels for the upcoming school year.
In order to be considered for the lottery draw, all High school students (9th-11th) applying to NACA will need to provide a copy of all High School transcripts including any Summer School and/or Credit recovery course grades. The Academic Dean will conduct a credit review and develop a summary of credits earned and credits still needed. The credit review will determine grade level classification at NACA. Depending on space availability, students will be accepted based on openings at that grade level. Remaining students will be placed on a waiting list until a space becomes available.
