School Closure & Out-of-School Learning Throughout Covid-19

NACA is working with and acknowledging the circumstances that families are experiencing to best support holistic wellness and learning for each student and their families.
We want to let you know that effective April 6th, NACA will move to provide out-of-school learning for all students. This letter provides details about our plan and what students and families can expect under these circumstances.
NACA is putting together learning plans for students in each grade level.

NACA Coronavirus Update and Meal Pick-ups!

Per the NM Public Education Department (PED), all schools in NM, including NACA, will be closed from March 16th to April 3rd. This means there will be no school or school functions. This includes athletics, out of school time, and junior class internships. Students return April 6th.

Internet Service Provider Emergency Offerings

The following emergency offerings by Internet Service Providers was compiled by the NM Public
Education Department (PED) and the Homework Gap Team (PED, Department of Information
Technology, State Library, Public Schools Facility Authority, Santa Fe Indian School, and the
Navajo Nation) through a request to New Mexico Internet Service Providers (ISP) for their
emergency offerings during the Covid19 pandemic. In addition, the “Team” also has included
national offerings specific to New Mexico that are being compiled by the State Education
Technology Directors Association (SETDA). The goal is to provide resources for staying connected
to broadband during the mandatory school closures. We will update this information as new
information is shared with the “Team.” Lastly, the “Team” has put together a companion
document that includes helpful links supporting at home education
