Introduction

Many people think of Andrew Jackson as a hero in history. This is shown through having Andrew Jackson's portrait on the United States twenty dollar bill. What many do not know, was that Andrew Jackson's past with Native Americans hasn't been so good. As Native Americans, we feel that sharing the story of Andrew Jackson and the Trail of Tears is a very important story to share about one of America's many heroes.
